Theravance provides a comprehensive benefits package intended to respond to the various needs of employees and their families. All regular full-time employees are eligible for coverage generally beginning on the date of hire. Theravance currently pays a major portion of the benefits package with employees sharing a small part of the total cost.
All regular full-time employees and their families, as well as opposite or same-sex partners, are eligible for coverage. We provide a choice of three comprehensive plans.
The dental plan offers PPO and Out-Of-Network coverage. The plan covers 100% for diagnostic and preventive care. Coverage for other treatment varies depending on the procedures.
Vision Service Plan
Our plan allows for an annual eye examination as well as lenses, frames or contacts every twenty-four months.
Theravance provides group term life insurance of two times the employee's annual salary to a maximum of $500,000. Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance is also included.
All regular full-time employees are eligible for both short & long term disability insurance. In addition, sick leave is also provided each year.
Health & Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts
These accounts allow the employee to set aside a portion of their salary on a pre-tax basis to pay for qualified medical and dependent care expenses.
Eligible employees may enroll in the plan at any time. Participants can direct up to 50% percent of their salary (or the IRS maximum) as pre-tax savings into the Plan. Several investment alternatives are available.
Free credit union membership is available to all employees.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan
Regular non-officer employees can purchase Theravance Stock at a discounted amount.
All regular full-time employees begin employment accruing three weeks of paid vacation per year.
Theravance offers a number of paid company holidays per year.
Theravance reserves the right to amend in writing or terminate the benefits plans described above, for any reason, in accordance with the provisions of such benefit plans.
